Alpha Rho Chi is billed as the &quotanit-frat frat residence&quot because as architecture majors at USC they have a really like and respect for old homes. They are also the only co-ed fraternity on Frat Home Row (West 28th Street). It was the fraternity which nominated the property for historic-cultural monument status which was approved in 1994, and they have been considering an application for national recognition. Far more just lately, the USC School of Architecture has agreed to sponsor considerably of the restoration, even so efforts seem to have stalled. The house is general Colonial Revival, with a mix of Italian Renaissance. Although, a gable and two finials above the front and side dormers, which are now missing, would have provided the house much more presence and a decidedly far more Victorian search.
